Hackensack Meridian Health, Ocean University Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Neonatologist to join our Faculty Practice team in Brick, New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collegial group in a supportive environment and work with great colleagues and residents.
Opportunity Highlights- 5 bed level II special care nursery.
- In house coverage, 24 hours. On call 7-8 times per month (including 2 weekends) depending on schedule.
- Opportunity for Level III coverage at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
- Our Level III C Children’s hospital has an average daily census of 38-44, has 4,000 deliveries, with 700 admissions a year in the NICU.
- Work with an experienced team of neonatologists, respiratory therapists, dedicated neonatal pharmacist and dietician, RNs, and support staff.
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine service, surgical and subspecialty services.
- Opportunity for academic appointment with Hackensack School of Medicine.
- Research and quality improvement opportunities
- Participate in divisions' educational lectures.
- Current New Jersey Medical License
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school
- Ability to interface effectively with professional personnel
