Overview
Our client is seeking Learning Disability Teacher Consultants in Hudson County in New Jersey.
Hours vary dependent on the school up to $65/hr.
Duties include light case management, evaluations, and meetings. School psychologists assist students at all levels, from elementary school to college, acting alongside school counselors to advocate for student well‑being and serve as valuable resources for educational and personal advancement. As a school psychologist, you will first and foremost listen to student concerns.
- Administer tests and recommend placement for exceptional and new students.
- Recommend corrective procedures.
- Conduct individual, group, or facilitative therapy for children and confer with parents or teachers whenever necessary.
- School‑based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations.
- Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings, High‑Pressure environment.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree.
- LDTC Certification.
- High School and previous CST experience.
- Proven ability to thrive in a diverse, high‑pressure deadline‑driven school environment.
- Available during school hours.
- Ability to obtain NJDOE prints.
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation’s largest referral agencies for educational and behavioral‑health.
