Provides for a classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Promote the educational growth of students, commensurate with student ability as described in individualized educational plans (IEP). Ability to relate to culturally diverse students desired.

Valid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification and/or valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped Willingness to work with students with diverse needs Ability to maintain a positive learning environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Possess the physical and mental capacity to perform major job responsibilities including but not limited to the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Following the established MCSSETA Salary Guide Step 1 $ 77,426
