Instructional Development Specialist

Salary:Not to exceed $58,500 through 06/01/27

Foundation Academies is seeking a part-time Instructional Development Specialist to develop instructional leaders, strengthen coaching practices, and design impactful professional learning. In this role, you'll help build consistent coaching systems that accelerate teacher growth and improve scholar outcomes across our schools.

• Coach and develop instructional leaders to strengthen coaching practices.
• Design and facilitate professional learning for instructional coaches.
• Observe coaching, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement.
• Develop coaching tools, resources, and systems that drive consistency.
• Partner with school and network leaders to improve instructional leadership and teacher effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of successful teaching experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as an instructional coach, instructional leader, principal, or in a comparable leadership role.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional learning.
• Strong coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence and develop others through coaching and feedback.
