Summary:
This 15-20 hour per week ($20 per hour), 10-week remote internship will support the initiatives of Thomas Edison State University's Heavin School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education. The Heavin School offers an interdisciplinary approach to lifelong learning for adult learners interested in exploring the values and insights inherent in the liberal arts, humanities, and social sciences. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of the Heavin School, the intern will have met the following learning objectives by the end of the internship:
* Gain an understanding of the administration and operation of a school-level unit at an institution of higher education
* Develop research skills
* Receive an introduction to higher education academic administration as a career
Responsibilities, duties, and projects:
* Research Projects
* Website Content Review
* Clerical Work
* Document Preparation
* Presentation Preparation
* Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:
Student Eligibility:
* Current NJ undergraduate student
* Current NJ graduate student
* Recent NJ college graduate: must have graduated less than one year prior to start of the internship experience (May 2025-May 2026 graduates)
* A current undergraduate student who is a permanent NJ resident
