Special Ed Leave Replacement Teachers
Middle School Replacement for teachers on a leave of absence. Length of positions may vary.
Requirements:
- New Jersey Instructional Certificate
- New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped or Students with Disabilities
- New Jersey Instructional Certificate (any subject area)
- Successful clearance of criminal history
All Substitutes must be BOE approved. Effective: School Year.
Salary:
- Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day
- Day 21+ = $367.00 per day HTEA 26/27 STEP 1 BA Teacher Guide
Benefits:
Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits). In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
