Achievers Early College Prep Charter School (AECP) is New Jersey’s first public charter school for students in middle and high school that provides them the unique opportunity to pursue one of four STEAM pathways:
Health Sciences, Digital Media, Audio Engineering, and Cisco Computer Networking. Students can earn up to 60 college credits, NOCTI credentials, and workplace training. AECP is determined to ensure that students can enhance their journey through high school and graduate with content mastery, skills, and experiences that are essential to the current marketplace and the world beyond.

Achievers Early College Prep Charter School seeks a hard‑working, compassionate, and knowledgeable individual to serve as a middle school and high school nurse for grades 6‑9. Experience with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity is a must. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform hearing, vision, and other health screenings.
• Treat students and staff as needed.
• Prepare incident reports for student and staff injuries.
• Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions.
• Consult with teachers, school administrators, and other school staff regarding student care.
• Administer medication.
• Educate students and staff on health procedures.
• Help students who have feeding disabilities.

• A minimum degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Registered Nurse License is required.
• Candidate possessing a Standard School Nurse Certificate (CSN) for the state of New Jersey and all professional licenses and required training up to date is highly preferred.
• Experience working in collaboration with other nurses and with students.
• Demonstrated compliance experience required; management of an audit process is highly preferred.
