We are seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to join our mission‑driven team. We’re looking for someone who brings technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and an interest in sustainable engineering solutions. This individual will serve a key function in providing geotechnical expertise to support our ecological restoration, natural resources, and geotechnical engineering projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE- Plan and perform various subsurface investigation efforts, including both land and water‑based projects.
- Perform geotechnical analyses including but not limited to, slope stability, seepage, bearing capacity, settlement, axial and lateral capacities of deep foundations, sheet pile design, and soil liquefaction.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and plans.
- Provide geotechnical guidance to other Practice Areas in the firm.
- Perform construction oversight for various restoration projects.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Other duties as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 6+ years relevant experience.
- Professional engineering licensure.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities; including writing proposals, technical reports, and presenting technical information to clients.
- Excellent time‑management skills that allow for the simultaneous management of multiple tasks.
