Maintenance Flight Engineer Intern – Trenton, NJ – Johnson & Johnson
PurposeAn Aviation Department Internship position is available at West Trenton Mercer County Airport. The Internship Program runs from May through August and provides college students with practical business aviation experience, helping them develop leadership skills and apply classroom knowledge in a real‑world setting.
Responsibilities- Aircraft Maintenance (Scheduled & Unscheduled)
- Line Work (Towing, fueling, marshalling)
- Troubleshooting Aircraft Systems
- Gulfstream G600 (2)
- Gulfstream G650 (2)
- Leonardo AW-139 (1)
- Completion of first year of undergraduate studies at an accredited university
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- Airframe and Power‑plant Certificate
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation to the airport
- Cell phone with email capability
- Availability for mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring future visa sponsorship
Base pay range: $23.00/hr to $51.50/hr, depending on program year, discipline, and experience. Interns are eligible to participate in company‑sponsored medical benefits and the company’s retirement plan. Sick time benefits include up to 40 hours per calendar year; for residents of Washington State, up to 56 hours per year.
