- Inspect project sites and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes.
- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
- Prepare project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.
- Communicate directly with contractors and designers concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling.
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to other project members and contractors.
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of statics, mechanics of materials and structural analysis.
- Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk AutoCAD software.
