Industrial Hygiene Technician

A progressive and innovative environmental consulting firm with a 40-year history of successful high-level client services is seeking a likeminded goal oriented aspiring environmental professional to assume an entry level position with an intent to develop a long-term relationship with the organization. The Employer will provide training and mentorship in the field of Industrial Hygiene with opportunities of engagement in building science, geosciences and sustainability.

The selected candidate shall assist and support management with all matters related to client engagements including client relations, site assessments, construction administration, program coordination, and project closeouts. The selected candidate will learn and participate in environmental site assessments, project designs, development of drawings and technical specifications related to wide spectrum of environmental matters including indoor air quality, moisture control, microbial, asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials.

• Candidate will gain proficiency in environmental and industrial hygiene with emphasis on indoor air quality, mold, asbestos and lead.
• Training and licensure in the disciplines under the employee’s purview will be provided.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene or environmental sciences preferred
• Strong computer skills essential
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required
• The ability to work independently and with others
