The Bergin Agency, based in Cranford, NJ
, is looking for a qualified individual to be the Executive Associate to the senior financial representative, managing assets of over $. A family-owned independent full-service client centric financial and retirement planning firm has been providing services to clients since 1990.

Candidate must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter, willing to have fun while putting client needs first.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for proactive client contact which includes communication by phone and email.
  • Assist clients with service needs, including general account questions, account and beneficiary changes, loans, withdrawals, etc.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments by e-mail and phone.
  • Client appointment preparation – appointment agendas, running performance reports, gathering proper paperwork, etc.
  • Document all client interactions via CRM (Salesforce).
  • Responsible for executing marketing tasks, as needed.
  • Submit correspondence and sales material to compliance for review.
  • Ensure that Required Minimum Distributions are scheduled and taken.
  • Inform financial advisor of client issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry and company rules and regulations.
  • Attend branch operations meetings and sales assistant conferences.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience

  • Investment/brokerage operations experience (Pershing a plus).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of mutual funds and retirement plans.
  • Industry experience and Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations required.
