Position

Position

The Alternative Investments Reporting Operations role will sit on the Investment Reporting team, collaborating with the Head of Investment Reporting Operations, the Head of Client Reporting & Alternative Investment Services, and the Performance and Alternative Reporting teams. This is a dual-function position that combines core performance reporting responsibilities with specialized support for alternative and specialty asset reporting.

  • Performance Reporting:
Provides core platform and field support for the Addepar performance reporting platform—maintains the accuracy of performance data, calculations, and reporting, and serves as the primary contact for training, inquiries, and escalations between advisors and the vendor.
  • Alternative Investment Reporting:
Owns the operational management, data quality, reconciliation, and reporting of client-held investments not supported through traditional custodial feeds or standard market data providers. This function also performs data quality analysis across Rockefellers alternative investment data ecosystem and assists with on-platform alternative investment integrations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an effective communicator with a strategic mindset. They demonstrate strong time management skills, approach challenges with speed and precision, and are committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member, while building strong relationships and navigating effectively across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire investment performance data cycle, from collection to quality review to report creation. Support the accuracy of alternative and specialty asset data utilized in client reporting and investment performance calculations.
  • Support the Addepar performance reporting platform, serving as a core platform resource for configuration, reporting, performance calculations, and related advisor inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between advisors/internal stakeholders and performance and data vendors — fielding inquiries and escalations and resolving data discrepancies to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Track, manage, and resolve field inquiries, including support for quality reviews and follow-ups on non-responsive incidents.
  • Train and educate private advisors and their teams on performance and reporting systems, calculations, and concepts.
  • Develop and maintain support metrics to analyze incident trends, measure vendor responsiveness, and identify opportunities for workflow improvement.
  • Investigate performance outliers and anomalies related to alternative and specialty assets, assist in reconciliation and ensuring records align with reporting standards and internal governance requirements.
  • Process position, transaction, valuation, and cash flow activity for off-platform investments.
  • Coordinate with advisors, vendor partners, fund managers, and custodians to obtain required data and supporting documentation.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly…
