Responsibilities
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for learners with developmental disabilities
  • Implement and monitor behavior intervention programs using applied behavior analysis techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including special education teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and other professionals involved in the learners’ care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment documentation and records
Experience
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with special education practices and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ability to assess learners’ needs, develop appropriate treatment plans, and monitor progress over time
Skills
  • Behavioral consultation experience
  • Proficiency in conducting behavioral assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Ability to provide direct care using behavioral therapy methods
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate treatment records and documentation
