We are currently hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to deliver top-tier service across North, Central, and South Jersey. Responsibilities- Provide safe and reliable transportation to patients for medical appointments and related services.
- Assist patients in boarding and alighting from vehicles using wheelchairs, stretchers, and other specialized equipment.
- Demonstrate compassion and ensure patient comfort while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide basic medical assistance and first aid as needed during transport.
- Ensure all necessary medical equipment is onboard and functional, maintaining a well-stocked medical kit.
- Perform pretrip inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and properly functioning.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs, documenting mileage, fuel usage, and other key data related to hours driven and passenger loads.
- Coordinate transit schedules with dispatch and transport team members for efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transportation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing medical interventions, accidents, injuries, and other incidents.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding patient transport, medical equipment, and privacy standards.
- Follow established procedures in case of accidents, injuries, or unexpected medical emergencies.
- Maintain up-to-date EMT certification and participate in continuing education and training.
- Attend regular training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to stay current with industry knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and culture of service excellence.
- Valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
