Position: Early Intervention Occupational Therapist I: Per Diem, Atlantic Health Goryeb Children's Hospital

Job Description

Atlantic Health is looking for a well‑qualified per diem Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children born to three years old who are eligible for early intervention services in the Multidisciplinary Department at Atlantic Health Goryeb Children’s Hospital. Services are also offered in a child’s natural environment, including their home and child care day care programs. This position covers a full‑time employee during a leave of absence from May–October 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Follow NJEIS policy and procedures.
  • Enter accurate information into EIMS in a timely manner.
  • Prepare IFSP outcomes and Form 13 with parental input.
  • Submit monthly paperwork on time.
  • Participate in AHS EIP Team Meetings.
  • Serve as a resource to AHS Team Members.
  • Promote the use of practice standards across discipline‑specific evidence‑based competencies.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least one year of experience in early intervention with children ages birth to five years who have developmental delays and disabilities.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record and owned car.
  • Preference for experience with individuals ages birth to five years with developmental delays and disabilities.
