The Cherokee Regional Library System seeks applicants for a part-time (29 hrs per week) Technology Support Specialist who is an energetic, inquisitive, eager learner with a can-do attitude looking to expand his/her IT skills. Applicants must have the ability to troubleshoot and work independently and have an interest in working with public library technologies.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the technology in a four branch, Google Workspace environment library system. Libraries are also equipped with PCs, MACs and network printers in need of maintaining, servicing, replacing and inventorying.
Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent, valid driver’s license.
Skills Needed:
- Basic experience with Chrome devices, PCs, Macs and network printers
- Basic Networking
- $16.00 per hour, non-exempt
- Sick leave, personal leave, and holiday pay
- Dental, vision, life insurance, retirement (TRS), short & long term disability coverage (no health)
