Anaplan Lead

Systems Accountants is partnering with a client in the financial services sector to find an Anaplan Lead to join their team and drive platform development initiatives.

New Jersey (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex Anaplan implementations within a large-scale financial services environment. You'll be responsible for designing and building solutions that support critical business processes while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and security protocols.

• Build and configure Anaplan applications following modern design standards and architectural principles
• Create technical solutions that align with platform best practices and vendor roadmap
• Design integrations connecting Anaplan with enterprise systems using modern integration and data patterns
• Develop automated testing frameworks including integration and functional tests
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues identified during testing or production support
• Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement across the platform
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide technical guidance to the broader team
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and delivery professionals on solution development

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Anaplan Solution Architect Certification required
• Advanced Anaplan knowledge across modeling, integrations, security, and administration
• Strong understanding of Anaplan's core capabilities, data structures, and access controls
• Experience with agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Proven ability to coach others and leverage diverse perspectives
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on complex problems requiring evaluation of multiple variables
• Self-motivated learner who stays current with platform updates and industry trends
• Master Ana planner Certification preferred

• Project and product management experience including progress monitoring and visualization
• Understanding of financial concepts and metrics (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, budgeting)
• Experience facilitating technical dialogue across different stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of decision-making frameworks and critical thinking methodologies
