The PEGA Senior Systems Architect is responsible for evaluating existing systems and user needs to design, recommend, and implement enhancements within PEGA-based applications.
This role involves developing and modifying programs, ensuring high-quality technical solutions, and participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
The position requires extensive experience with PEGA architecture and strong technical expertise across object-oriented development principles.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate existing systems and user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes.
- Collaborate with clients and technical teams to develop solutions that meet business and system requirements.
- Attain a full understanding of requirements, including rule resolution, class structure design, and reusability.
- Develop and modify programs, perform unit testing, and create supporting documentation.
- Participate in system testing alongside business analysts and end users.
- Write system requirements based on business requirements.
- Implement a wide range of functionality including user interface development and case management.
- Ensure adherence to PEGA best practices across application design, data modeling, rules automation, integration, and security.
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
- Minimum of 5 years of PEGA development experience after obtaining PEGA Certification.
- Experience with technologies such as Web Sphere, Web Logic, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java, .NET, Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in PEGA application design, case modeling, integration, reporting, business rules automation, administration, and security.
- Experience working on large-scale, business-centric, and process-based applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical recommendations.
- Active PEGA Certified System Architect certification with a minimum of 5 years of post-certification experience.
