IT Field Services Engineer - Carteret

Skanska is searching for a dynamic Field Service Engineer. The role involves providing technical support to assist group computer system users, answering questions or resolving computer problems in person, by telephone or remote location. The engineer will also handle assigned jobsite mobilization and demobilization duties as directed by the Regional Manager, ensuring a highly professional performance in all interactions.

• Provide technical support for computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office productivity, electronic mail, and operating systems.
• Diagnose and repair PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Manage several tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.
• Handle jobsite mobilization and demobilization assignments.
• Travel frequently within the assigned geographic market; maintain a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for business use.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all company policies during on‑site activities.

• Minimum 2 years of technical support experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong ability to understand technology processes and apply them to improve overall efficiency.
• Demonstrated multitasking skills with the ability to handle concurrent responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; candidate responsible for registration, insurance, and maintenance, with mileage reimbursement.
