Position Overview
Enterprise Reporting and Analytics is a key driver of Rugs USA’s success and integral to growing sales and profitability. As the Manager of Enterprise Reporting and Analytics you will play a pivotal role in developing a holistic picture of the business performance. This role will have broad exposure and an opportunity to forge the new reporting and analytics capabilities for Rugs USA.
EssentialJob Functions
- Own the enterprise reporting functions and capabilities for the organization.
- Provide regular weekly and monthly updates to partners on business sales performance.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations to drive growth and performance.
- Incorporate new data sources into existing reporting infrastructure.
- Manage and update data architecture in reporting tools, including managing and updating the code base for data ingestion and organization.
- Foster working relationship with IT department on opportunities to enhance reporting and proactively adjust reporting for ongoing IT infrastructure updates.
- Collaborate cross functionally to develop reporting capabilities to support different functions including Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Channel teams.
- Provide analytical support to key initiatives on the impact to the overall business by channel and brand.
- Work with partners to create new dashboards and visualizations to support ongoing corporate goals.
- Troubleshoot any issues with reporting and implement fixes to keep reporting up and running.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 4 to 6 years experience working in a retail or ecommerce business.
- Experience with Qlik, Tableau, or Power
BI required. - Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
- Excellent data analysis and analytical skills and comfort analyzing very large data sets.
- Prior experience creating forecasts is a plus.
- Expert using Microsoft Excel.
