We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Guidewire Insurance Suite implementation and enhancement initiatives within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale Guidewire projects, strong stakeholder management skills, and experience leading distributed teams in Agile environments.
Required Skills- Extensive experience managing Guidewire Insurance Suite implementations, including Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business processes, including policy administration, claims, and billing.
- Proven Project Management experience delivering large-scale implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs.
- Experience managing Guidewire integrations, data migration, and cloud/on-premise deployments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery models.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Guidewire programs, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Manage Guidewire implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
- Drive project planning, sprint execution, milestone tracking, release management, and delivery governance.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and project management best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate project status meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive reporting.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations.
- Lead cross-functional teams including Guidewire developers, business analysts, QA teams, and integration specialists.
- Coordinate onsite, offshore, and third-party vendor teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across all project stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with insurance industry standards, security requirements, and governance policies.
- Oversee defect management, testing activities, and UAT sign-off processes.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and delivery costs.
- Support scope management, change requests, and project financial planning.
- PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications.
- Experience working in large-scale insurance transformation programs.
- Experience with Tier-1 insurance carriers or global insurance organizations.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and related project management tools.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD, and release management practices.
- Strong ownership mindset and execution discipline.
- Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into executable project plans.
- Proven success delivering Guidewire programs on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage distributed and multi-vendor teams.
