Job OverviewAs a Freelance Data Center Technician, you will play a key role in delivering on-demand support to our global data centers. Your responsibilities include hardware installation, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing network operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to ensure optimal performance and maximum uptime.
- Monitor data center operations both remotely and on-site, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows-based systems, performing updates, patches, and security enhancements.
- Document all installations, repairs, maintenance tasks, and system performance, providing comprehensive reports.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the integrity of the data center infrastructure.
- Collaborate with remote IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance operations and participate in project execution.
