Key Responsibilities- Design and develop AI models with a robust statistical foundation; ensure scalability and integration into existing systems.
- Develop and utilize metrics to evaluate performance; continuously monitor and refine models to maintain high performance and accuracy.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns; validate AI models against benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives; communicate findings to non‑technical members.
- Machine Learning:
Proficiency in ML algorithms and frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch or similar. - Statistical Analysis:
Strong background in statistics and probability; ability to apply statistical methods to real-world data. - Programming:
Expertise in Python and/or R; familiarity with SQL and other database technologies. - Data Analysis:
Skilled in data preprocessing, cleaning, transformation, and visualization. - Insurance Domain Knowledge:
Experience with insurance datasets including claims and underwriting data. - Understanding of industry‑specific challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications a plus). - Experience:
7–9 years overall, including 3–5+ years in AI/ML development and deployment; prior experience in insurance industry is highly desirable. - Soft Skills:
Strong problem‑solving, excellent communication, and ability to work collaboratively. - Adaptability:
Stay current with latest AI trends and technologies; apply to improve existing solutions.
The base salary range for this position is $180,000 – $220,000 annually.
