At Client IT, you will be responsible for quality assurance of enterprise systems, focusing on Salesforce-based applications and data modernization. Create functional and non‑functional test requirements and solutions to ensure specifications are met.

• Create test cases and acceptance criteria for Salesforce Lightning components, custom objects, and automated flows.
• Execute test cases under varying circumstances, performing functional, regression, and integration testing between Salesforce and external data platforms such as Snowflake and AWS.
• Document and evaluate test results, maintaining detailed logs within Agile management tools (Jira or Azure Dev Ops).
• Detect, log, and report program bugs, identifying Salesforce-specific issues including validation rule failures, permission set conflicts, and integration bottlenecks.
• Track defects and troubleshoot errors, working closely with developers to replicate bugs and verify fixes in sandbox environments.
• Create test procedures and training materials for end‑user testing and UAT sessions.
• Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies, determining when to use manual versus automated testing (e.g., Playwright) for Salesforce UI and API layers.
• Collaborate with project team members, partnering with Salesforce Architects and Data Engineers on security requirements and customer‑facing issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to integrate quality into the SDLC.
• Leverage Salesforce domain expertise, testing CRM configuration, customization, and App Exchange integrations.
• Validate data integrity, including complex data migrations and real‑time data syncs between cloud platforms.
• Ensure public sector compliance, testing applications against accessibility (Section 508) and data privacy standards relevant to educational data.
• Maintain sandbox management, familiar with test data and deployment across Salesforce sandbox environments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in quality assurance of software systems.
• Manual testing (system, integration, regression) – at least 5 years.
• Salesforce platform testing (Lightning, flows, objects) – at least 4 years.
• Agile/Scrum methodology – 5 years experience.
• Defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or ALM) – 5 years.
• API testing (Postman or SoapUI) – 3 years.
• Test case design and documentation – 5 years.
• Data validation/SQL (Snowflake or similar) – desired, 3 years.
• Test automation (Playwright, Selenium, or Copado) – desired, 3 years.
• UAT coordination/Business analysis – desired, 3 years.

Hourly Rate: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour. Pay within this range may be influenced by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
