Service Now HRSD Developer
Location:
Chicago, IL Onsite Rate: $50 - $55/HR on W2 Max Duration: 12+ Months We are seeking an experienced Service Now HRSD Developer to design, develop, implement, and support HR Service Delivery solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HRSD modules, workflow automation, integrations, and Service Now best practices to enhance HR operations and employee experience.
- Design and implement Service Now HRSD solutions including: HR Case Management Employee Service Center (ESC) HR Knowledge Management Lifecycle Events Document Management
- Configure and customize HRSD applications, workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
- Develop and maintain Flow Designer flows, catalog items, record producers, and approvals .
- Implement HR service portals and enhance user experience.
- Integrate Service Now HRSD with third-party systems (S4, Success Factors, SAP, AD, Payroll systems, etc.).
- Develop custom scripts using JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Now best practices.
- Manage data migration, transformation maps, and integrations via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ensure data security and compliance with HR data privacy standards.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design workshops, and documentation.
- Support upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3 8 years of experience in Service Now development
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Service Now HRSD module
- Strong knowledge of: HR Case Management Lifecycle Events Employee Center / Service Portal Flow Designer Integration Hub
- Experience with:
Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes UI Policies, ACLs, Data Policies Catalog development - Strong JavaScript and Glide API knowledge
- Experience in REST/SOAP integrations
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (preferred)
- Understanding of HR processes (Onboarding, Offboarding, Employee Relations, etc.)
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Service Now HRSD Implementation Specialist (Preferred)
