Senior Director, Advertising and Data Monetization

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a team of 9 FTEs
• Own the overarching business strategy for Verizon’s ad products
• Oversee the development of the GTM strategy and support the Head of Media Sales
• Guide the Product and Engineering teams in managing critical third-party vendor relationships
• Ensure the team effectively manages yield, pricing strategies, and inventory flow
• Act as the primary liaison between the advertising division and broader Verizon leadership

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
• Master's Degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 10-12+ years of progressive leadership experience in ad-tech, media sales, digital advertising, or retail media networks
• Proven experience managing cross-functional leaders and building high-performing teams from the ground up
• Deep understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem, programmatic architecture, data clean rooms, and digital yield management
• Strong executive presence with a track record of driving multi-million dollar revenue growth and managing enterprise-level vendor relationships
• Ability to navigate and lead within a complex, highly matrixed corporate environment
