Security Operations Architect - ServiceNow

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and solution design for Service Now Security Operations and Risk capabilities.
• Translate business, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and operational requirements into Service Now solution designs.
• Configure and develop Service Now applications supporting vulnerability response, security incident response, risk and compliance, or related security processes.
• Identify opportunities to use out-of-the-box Service Now functionality before introducing customization.
• Assess the impact of platform upgrades, application upgrades, security patches, and Service Now release changes.
• Support defect resolution, performance troubleshooting, integration failures, and production incidents.
• Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, technical design documents, interface specifications, configuration documentation, and operational support procedures.
• Communicate risks, design decisions, constraints, and dependencies clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• At least 5 years of hands-on Service Now development experience specifically involving Service Now Risk, Security Operations, or security-related solutions.
• Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting one or more of the following:
  Service Now Vulnerability Response, Service Now Security Incident Response
• Experience serving as a Service Now solution architect, technical architect, technical lead, or senior developer on enterprise implementations.
• Strong understanding of Service Now platform architecture, application development, integrations, security, data modelling, workflow design, and platform governance.
• Experience designing solutions that are scalable, maintainable, upgrade-safe, and aligned with Service Now leading practices.

• At least one of the following Service Now implementation certifications:
  Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, or Risk and Compliance (CIS).
• At least one of the following platform certifications:
  Certified System Administrator.
• Certified Implementation Specialist - Data Foundations.

• Work effectively with limited supervision.
• Lead technical discussions with U. S.
  
  -based stakeholders.
• Explain complex design decisions clearly.
• Challenge requirements constructively when they conflict with platform-leading practices.
• Balance out-of-the-box functionality with necessary customization.
• Diagnose complex platform and integration issues.
• Provide practical direction to developers and administrators.
• Deliver complete, documented, production-ready solutions.
