Executive Director, E2E Supply & Demand Planning Position Summary
Responsible for establishing and governing the integrated supply chain plan across all planning horizons, including long-range, mid-term and short-term planning for Drug Product and Vector. Leads the translation of commercial and clinical demand into a feasible demand, supply and capacity network plan, aligning product strategy, operational and financial objectives. Manages scenario planning, capacity planning, inventory optimization, risk identification and mitigation while ensuring reliable patient delivery and adherence to turnaround time targets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and govern the end-to-end network planning process across all planning horizons, including Long-Term Supply Planning (LTSP), S&OP, and S&OE.
- Own and maintain the network plan of record for drug product and vector supply, ensuring alignment across commercial, clinical, operations, and financial objectives.
- Establish and continuously improve integrated planning, processes, governance, and standards that support business growth and network evolution.
- Lead the consensus demand planning process in partnership with Commercial, Clinical, and Finance teams to develop an aligned demand plan.
- Translate demand requirements into feasible network supply, capacity, inventory, and execution plans that optimize patient delivery and business performance.
- Own the development, maintenance, and execution of the network supply plan, balancing supply and demand across the enterprise.
- Lead vector supply planning and inventory management strategies to ensure reliable supply while optimizing inventory and risk.
- Establish capacity planning strategies and target utilization levels to support current operations, future growth, product launches, and lifecycle management activities.
- Drive supply and demand scenario planning across strategic, tactical, and operational horizons, evaluating risks, opportunities, and business tradeoffs.
- Proactively identify, assess, and communicate commercial, clinical, supply, capacity, and inventory risks and opportunities, enabling timely decision-making and mitigation.
- Lead monthly S&OP and S&OE processes, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, operational execution, and network priorities.
- Establish network performance targets and monitor performance against key metrics, including turnaround time (TAT), capacity utilization, inventory health, service levels, and patient delivery commitments.
- Own the TAT planning target process and monitor network adherence to TAT performance against plan through cross-functional teams.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership across Global Supply Chain and CTDO to align planning decisions, resolve constraints, and support enterprise priorities.
- Champion operational excellence, planning transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen planning capabilities, improve decision quality, and enable a single integrated planning framework across the network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, IT, Procurement) to ensure seamless integration of business processes and alignment with strategic goals.
- Cultivate a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability, ensuring team members are valued, recognized, and aligned with the organization’s mission and strategy.
- Champion digital transformation within supply chain operations by leveraging emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to drive efficiency, resilience, and innovation.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset by exploring new digital tools and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global supply chain management, planning, and operations, with significant experience in biopharmaceutical or cell therapy industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in network planning, demand management, scenario planning, and S&OP processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results in dynamic, matrixed environments.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills, with experience in advanced planning systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at the executive level.
- Proven ability to apply digital thinking in supply chain strategy, with foundational knowledge of AI, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Base salary range: $278,770 - $337,809. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final individual compensation determined by demonstrated experience.
