Growing organization in Trenton, NJ is seeking an experienced International Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound international shipments, inventory, and deliveries from origin through final receipt. This is a hands-on role working closely with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and customers.
Responsibilities- Coordinate international ocean and air shipments from origin through final delivery
- Manage incoming inventory and coordinate receipt with warehouse partners
- Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and DGD documentation
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers
- Track shipments, identify delays, and follow through on issues until resolved
- Coordinate delivery appointments and confirm receipt
- Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records
- Support customs and FDA import compliance
- Provide shipment status updates to internal teams and leadership
- Help improve logistics processes and procedures
- 3+ years of international logistics, import/export, or freight coordination experience
- Experience with DGD documentation and compliance
- Experience with FDA requirements for imported shipments
- Working knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses
- Strong organization, follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Net Suite experience is a plus
