Overview

Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month

Annual Salary Pay: $105,000-$112,000 per year

Annual Bonus Potential: Up to 20% of base salary

Experience: experience leading startup operations and with systems development and training is preferred

Travel: Up to 75% travel

Summary: The Group Logistics Manager - Systems and Training will lead system and training excellence at scale, own the design and execution of logistics training strategies, act as the systems and process authority for WMS‑driven operations, partner cross‑functionally with IT and business leaders, translate data into action, champion continuous improvement initiatives, create and maintain operational documentation, manage complex implementations and priorities, ensure operational readiness and compliance, and deliver a strong customer‑focused approach.

What

You’ll Do as Group Logistics Manager - Systems and Training
  • Lead system and training excellence at scale by coaching and developing teams while driving accountability across logistics operations.
  • Own the design and execution of logistics training strategies
    , including Train‑the‑Trainer programs that enable sustainable knowledge transfer.
  • Act as the systems and process authority for WMS‑driven operations, supporting end users and resolving system and workflow challenges.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with IT and business leaders to support system rollouts, testing, go‑live events, and post‑implementation stabilization.
  • Translate data into action by tracking KPIs, analyzing performance trends, and recommending improvements that drive measurable results.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that streamline workflows, close performance gaps, and standardize best practices across locations.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation including SOPs, work instructions, training tools, and system reference materials.
  • Manage complex implementations and priorities
    , balancing timelines, milestones, and resources to support site launches and growth.
  • Ensure operational readiness and compliance by maintaining accurate documentation, training adherence, and system readiness.
  • Deliver a strong customer‑focused approach through proactive problem‑solving, follow‑through, and resolution in high‑volume environments.

The Group Manager Logistics I manages the overall financial, operational and employee aspects of multiple accounts with accountability for profitable retention and growth while meeting financial, safety and customer satisfaction goals.

Essential Functions / Qualifications

  • Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluation, ongoing employee feedback, disciplinary actions, and related documentation.
  • Developing direct and indirect reports; HR training; staffing; performance coaching; maintaining corrective staffing levels.
  • Creating location processes and cross‑training of CLS and CLC.
  • Customer satisfaction and KPI review, ensuring staff training in Transportation/Distribution Management.
  • Improve employee retention; reduce accidents; manage overtime; safety reporting follow‑up.
  • Process improvements and self‑audits; SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition as applicable.
