Press Operator (Wheel Division)Full Time Regular Manual Labor, Trenton, NJ, US
3 days ago – Requisition . Salary Range: $16.00 To $16.00 Hourly.
Responsibilities- Follow all applicable environmental, health and safety rules and procedures and immediately report all dangerous situations, near‑misses, and injuries.
- Participate in developing and updating risk assessments and review all applicable risk assessments annually.
- Safely operate a foot pedal operated hydraulic press as well as touchscreen automated presses.
- Safely operate the leak test machine.
- Safely lift wheels that range from 20–100 pounds with a team member.
- Box wheels for customer orders.
- Safely use manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Accurately record the proper information on Forms 120 & 127 (hardware sheets).
- Accurately read a print for the proper hardware for each wheel.
- Accurately read a print for the proper size box for direct customer shipments.
- Understand how internal routers are used.
- Accurately enter data into the current data collection system.
- Keep a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate well with other team members.

- Be flexible with working in other departments/plants when needed.
- Ability to read a print.
- Work well with other employees.
- Previous experience working in a production environment preferred.
- Basic computer/PC skills is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned environment for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day.
- Safety Glasses conforming to ANSI Z87.1 or higher.
- Steel Toe Safety Shoes conforming to OSHA General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910.
- Hearing protection conforming to OSHA General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910.
