Director of Nursing; DON

Jones-Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee and manage nursing operations within our facility in New Jersey. The DON will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and leading a team of skilled nursing professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all nursing staff and operations.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient care programs to enhance effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.
• Manage nursing budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Hire, train, and assess nursing staff performance.
• Address patient and family concerns to enhance the patient experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey
  .
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  , with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  .
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
