Job Description:

TPH is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate psychiatric care during overnight shifts. This is a travel opportunity for a committed professional with a minimum of 1.5 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience. The assignment is initially set for six weeks, with the potential for renewal based on performance and facility needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients in a structured overnight setting

Monitor patient behavior and safety, responding promptly to clinical changes

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients experiencing mental health crises

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of assignment

Minimum of 1.5 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience

Proven experience working night shifts in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting

Strong assessment skills and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and compassion

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
