Pay Range: $48.29 per hour

The RWJBarnabas Health New Graduate RN Residency program is a one‑year program that provides new graduate nurses with a safe, caring, supportive, and robust learning environment to gain clinical competency and transition from student to professional practice.

• Participate in a preceptor‑guided transition program.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Complete specialty‑specific foundational courses reflecting scope and standards of practice.
• Apply professional accountability and ethical practice inherent to the role of the registered nurse.
• Contribute to patient safety, quality, and satisfaction outcomes.
• Maintain personal self‑care to ensure safe and fulfilling nursing practice.
• Receive mentorship throughout the first year of practice and beyond.
• Be assigned to a specialty area if hired.
• Work variable day or night shift schedules as required.

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• South‑Eastern (NJ) RN licensure prior to hire date.
• Less than six months of RN experience.
• Commitment to orientation requirements.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: BSN degree.
