We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for an 8-week contract opportunity in Trenton, New Jersey. This on-site critical care nursing job is ideal for a Registered Nurse who thrives in fast-paced acute care settings, has strong ICU and medical-surgical telemetry experience, and is comfortable floating across multiple campuses in Central New Jersey. Located in the 08638 area, this Trenton assignment offers a convenient Central New Jersey setting with access to regional amenities and transportation, making it an appealing place to take your next contract.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
• Setting: Critical Care Float Pool
• Start Date: 7/21/2026
• Duration: 8-week contract
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float Requirement: Will float between regional campuses and additional campus coverage as needed
• EMR: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

• 2+ years of current ICU and MST experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a float pool environment across multiple acute care settings
• Strong critical thinking, bedside nursing, and patient assessment skills

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and related critical care settings
• Float between assigned campuses based on patient care needs
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe and effective patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical standards
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalates care as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety practices
