Atlantic Health is Seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for Pulmonary Critical Care in Freehold, NJ

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Centra State Pulmonology Critical Care team at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. The team includes five pulmonologists, seven nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff serving the 16‑bed Intensive Care Unit at Centra State Health System.

The Per Diem NP will be required to work at least two shifts per month, with the opportunity for more shifts as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the pulmonology team to deliver immediate, high‑quality care to ICU patients.

• Manage the critical care unit in collaboration with attending physicians
• Write consult and follow‑up notes
• Execute procedures such as central line placement, arterial line insertion, and HD catheter insertion
• Perform additional procedures including intubation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube placement, and lumbar puncture (LP) (preferred but not mandatory)
