Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities Â
· Drive operational implementation of polices strategies and initiatives in a way that builds a Company-Wide ZERO injury safety culture. Â
· Evaluate, monitor, and communicate developments regarding legislation and regulation related to industry Safety. Â
· Serve as management representative with OSHA our customers and other safety regulatory agencies. Â
· Manage the company"s safety OSHA recordkeeping. Â
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes and rules. Â
· Conducts safety inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety rules and regulations. This will assessments to measure performance of project teams and subcontractors.
* Excellent report writing skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
* Certifications in first aid, CPR, OSHA training, or environmental health are highly desirable.
* Familiarity with workers' compensation law and environmental compliance standards is essential for success in this role.
* Ability to conduct training & development sessions that enhance employee understanding of safety protocols.
* Exceptional communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and collaborating across teams to uphold safety standards.
