ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Quality Control Coordinator supports the organization’s quality control, systems improvement, and operational effectiveness efforts. Working under the direction of the Director of Quality Controls, this position helps ensure organizational processes, programs, communications, and initiatives are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with established procedures and expectations.

The Coordinator will assist with monitoring organizational workflows, maintaining documentation and tracking systems, conducting quality reviews, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, and following up on outstanding deliverables. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Control & Process Management
  • Assist in reviewing organizational processes, programs, materials, and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or opportunities for improvement and bring them to the attention of the Director of Quality Controls.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, checklists, and other process documentation.
  • Conduct periodic quality-control reviews to ensure established procedures are being followed consistently across the organization.
  • Assist in documenting new or revised organizational processes.
Project & Initiative Coordination
  • Support the Director of Quality Controls in coordinating cross-departmental projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, action-item lists, and other tools used to monitor progress.
  • Help identify potential delays or barriers and escalation concerns when appropriate.
  • Coordinate meetings related to quality-control initiatives, including scheduling, preparing materials, documenting action items, and tracking follow-up.
  • Assist with preparing reports, dashboards, summaries, and presentations for leadership.
  • Monitor established organizational metrics and assist in identifying trends or areas requiring additional review.
  • Support organizational surveys, evaluations, and other data-collection initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive organizational or personnel information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant professional experience in project coordination, operations, quality assurance, administration, process improvement, or a related area.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, association, education, government, or similarly complex organization is preferred.

  • Ability to develop and maintain organized tracking systems and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
