Assistant Meat​/Seafood Manager

As an Assistant Meat/Seafood Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll support daily operations of the meat and seafood department, ensuring fresh, high-quality products and outstanding service. You'll assist with ordering, production, merchandising, and inventory control while upholding strict food safety and sanitation standards. Partner with the Meat/Seafood Manager to train and coach team members, manage schedules, and maintain attractive, well-stocked cases.

You'll help drive sales through suggestive selling, accurate labeling, and seasonal promotions, contributing to a friendly, health-focused, and customer-centered store culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat/Seafood Manager with daily department operations
• Maintain high standards of product quality, freshness, and appearance
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and labeling regulations
• Support ordering, receiving, and inventory control to minimize shrink
• Set up and maintain attractive, well-stocked meat and seafood displays
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly service and product recommendations to customers
• Train, coach, and support team members on procedures and safety
• Help create and execute promotions, sales plans, and seasonal displays
• Monitor equipment and case temperatures, reporting issues promptly
• Support scheduling, workload planning, and a safe, clean work environment
