Assistant Deli Manager

As an Assistant Deli Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll support daily deli operations, ensuring fresh, high-quality products and excellent customer service. You'll assist with food preparation, merchandising displays, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Responsibilities include training and guiding team members, monitoring inventory and shrink, and following food safety and sanitation standards. You'll help manage schedules, support sales and promotional activities, and uphold Sprouts' focus on healthy, natural foods and a friendly, community-oriented shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Manager with daily deli operations and workflow
• Prepare, slice, and package deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product suggestions
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and temperature standards
• Merchandise and stock deli cases to Sprouts' visual standards
• Monitor inventory levels, reduce shrink, and assist with ordering
• Train, coach, and support deli team members on procedures and service
• Help create and manage team schedules and task assignments
• Operate slicers, ovens, and other deli equipment safely
• Support sales initiatives, promotions, and seasonal displays
