We proudly serve commercial and industrial customers throughout Central NJ. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Position Summary
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market share within an assigned territory. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
Develop and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial clients
Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and prepare customized service proposals
Present pricing, negotiate contracts, and close sales
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer information in CRM
Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts
Qualifications
2+ years of outside sales experience (waste industry experience preferred but not required)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with strong time management abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a territory
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
