We partner with programs in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Social Work, Counseling, Teacher Education, and other allied health disciplines to empower students and educators alike.

Position Summary

We are seeking a personable, driven, and tech-savvy Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This role blends relationship-building, consultative sales, and market insight. You’ll identify and engage prospective programs, conduct product demonstrations, and represent Exxat at national conferences—helping new partners discover how our solutions can transform their operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Outreach:
    Identify new opportunities in Social Work, Counseling, Teacher Education, Psychology, and related disciplines through research, referrals, events, and digital outreach.
  • Product Demonstrations:
    Conduct engaging demos tailored to program needs, articulating Exxat’s value and differentiators.
  • Market Expertise:
    Develop deep understanding of target disciplines, accreditation requirements, and key market trends.
  • Conference & Event Representation:
    Attend ~10 conferences per year and bi-annual sales meetings (approx. 5 weeks total travel) to connect with prospective clients and represent Exxat professionally.
  • Collaboration with Marketing:
    Partner with the marketing team to shape outreach campaigns, contribute to promotional content, and align messaging with market insights.
  • CRM Management:
    Maintain accurate pipeline and contact data; track and report lead progress through the sales cycle.
  • Relationship Building:
    Cultivate authentic, consultative relationships that position Exxat as a trusted partner to program leaders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in behavioral sciences, education, or healthcare preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles (SaaS or higher education technology experience a plus).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect easily with diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable with technology, CRM tools, and virtual presentation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, , Zoom).
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a collaborative mindset and commitment to professional growth.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 weeks per year for conferences and client events.
