Sales Development Representative

Job Summary

The business development representative will be responsible for growing our referral base through marketing campaigns and serving as an industry resource for our current referral networks. The goal is to double brand awareness with traditional and strategic campaigns for existing referral sources and grow our overall referral base by consistently bringing on 20 new referral relationships weekly. Candidates must be able to converse with insurance adjusters, property owners, and internal staff.

• Identify and market to all types of referral sources
• Develop lasting relationships with key referral sources to acquire jobs
• Identify and attend key events and association meetings to cultivate new referral sources
• Manage marketing materials and reorder materials necessary for referral cultivation
• Manage swag and leave-behind gifts/food for referral sources within set budget
• Operate email campaigns for event cultivation and top-of-mind brand awareness
• Work with internal staff to stay informed on all referral source jobs

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience meeting with customers and qualifying leads
• Past sales performance showing an average increase over time
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
• Experience with email marketing (Constant Contact or Mail Chimp)
• CRM management experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective communication with all potential referral sources
• Experience in trade show operations

Compensation: $38,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
