Trenton Security Officer; Blue Seal

This is a full-time, on-site Security Officer position located in Trenton, NJ. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to security incidents, and enforcing property regulations. Additional duties include providing access control, reporting irregularities, and ensuring the safety of students. This position requires a SORA license and Blue Seal Certification.

• Strong situational awareness and observational skills
• Experience with access control, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing regulations
• Ability to respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and visitors
• Possession of an active Blue Seal security license
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work during shift hours
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in security or law enforcement is an advantage
