• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification when required, and support visitor and employee screening processes in accordance with site protocols.
• Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site guidelines, maintaining professional conduct and readiness throughout the shift.

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
