Securitas seeks an Armed Security Officer for part-time weekend shifts, protecting client sites in the Other Services (Personal & Repair) sector. In this role, you will provide a highly visible security presence, conduct foot or vehicle patrols, control access, and monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards. You will respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, de-escalating conflicts and coordinating with supervisors or first responders as needed.
Responsibilities include enforcing site rules, completing clear written reports, and delivering professional, customer-focused service to employees and visitors. You will follow strict firearms safety, use-of-force, and company protocols, participate in ongoing training, and uphold Securitas' values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. This position offers hands-on security experience, potential paths to certifications, and future advancement into supervisory or specialist roles within a mission-driven, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform armed security patrols and static post duties on client premises
- Control access and verify identification for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Monitor surroundings, detect suspicious activity, and respond to alarms or incidents
- Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and client policies with professionalism
- Provide visible security presence and excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Communicate effectively via radio, phone, and in person with supervisors and client contacts
- Follow all firearms safety, use-of-force, and Securitas operating procedures
- Participate in required training, drills, and certifications
- Collaborate with site teams and emergency responders during incidents
