Robotics Technician; PLC

Automation Technician (PLC)

Salary: $40‑$45 per hour.

Hands‑on Maintenance Technician with PLC and robotics experience supporting an automated plastics manufacturing operation. Focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, robotics support, and occasional mechanical tasks.

• Support robotic integration, EOAT functionality, and automation within injection molding processes.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Automation Direct).
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, and controls.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment downtime.
• Support and maintain injection molding machines and related automation.
• Repair EOAT and assist with robotic integration.
• Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduit, and electrical components.
• Assist with mechanical repairs including conveyors, pumps, and production equipment.
• Document maintenance work in CMMS or internal systems.
• Communicate with production and leadership to minimize downtime and improve performance.

• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Automation Direct preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with robotics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Plastics or injection molding background.
• Experience working with molding machines and automated cells.
• Familiarity with EOAT and robotic systems in molding environments.
