School Social Worker DVS

OverviewSalary Range $60,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage Negligible Category Education
DescriptionSpecific duties and responsibilities:
- Supervises interns or other team members as directed by Supervisor of Curriculum
- Participates in staffing and program development
- Participates in planning/conducting professional workshops/teacher in-service training
- Contacts families/local school districts/DCP&P/IAIU or other agencies as needed
- Collaborates with school personnel on cases of suspected child abuse & makes reports to DCP&P
- Facilitates IEP meetings
- Reviews all files for perspective students and documents recommendations
- Attends meetings with parents/teachers
- Serves as a CST member
- Attends yearly Primary Restraint Technique (PRT) training
- Responsible for any miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Participates in PIP for improved job performance
Bachelor's Degree
3-6 months experience
NJ Certified School Social Worker (MSW)
