Mid‑Level to Senior Data Engineer | $90K - $160K | Industry Leading Real Estate Software Platform

Full‑time position located in Collingswood, New Jersey. Must be US Citizen or hold a valid Green Card/Long Term Visa.

Smarter Agent is a leading real‑estate software platform. We have one of the largest real‑estate data services platforms in North America and provide a source of truth for accurate real‑estate data. We operate from our office in Collingswood, 10 minutes outside Philadelphia, with free parking and a flexible work schedule.

We are looking for Mid‑Level and Senior Level Data Engineers to manage and create systems that utilize large real‑estate data sets and drive innovation within our SaaS platform.

• Recommend and implement data processing tools and technologies to keep us at the forefront of real‑estate data engineering, data science, and data architecture.
• Design and maintain end‑to‑end ETL data pipelines.
• Develop, document, and implement data mapping rules.
• Perform data cleansing and transformation of data.
• Create specifications for conversion programs and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure alignment with business and system requirements.
• Utilize tools to analyze and convert data to standardized formats.
• Develop continuous process improvements.
• Identify and fix data bugs to improve overall information quality.
• Work, collaborate, mentor, and provide leadership to team members.

• Passion for solving data challenges through software and technology.
• Highly analytical, results‑driven with strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• 3–10+ years of proven experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Firehose, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Neo4j, and REST APIs.
• AWS experience and familiarity with Python scripting for data aggregation, collection, and manipulation.
• Knowledge of databases, data conversion, and data cleansing methods.
• Experience parsing and mapping data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data, MLS standards, and real‑estate public record data is a plus.
